Smart Home & Energy Optimisation with Home Assistant
I help homeowners make their houses smarter, more efficient and cheaper to run by using Home Assistant and smart energy automation.
My focus is on practical solutions that can help you monitor, control and optimise your home energy use.
I can help with:
* Home Assistant setup
* smart home dashboard
* energy monitoring
* solar and battery monitoring
* EV charger automation
* boiler control
* heat pump / air conditioning control
* Shelly devices and smart plugs
* fixed IP and local network organisation
* electricity price-based automation
* basic smart home automation
* alerts when devices go offline
* simple explanations so you understand how your system works
The goal is simple:
Use electricity more intelligently, reduce waste, avoid expensive hours when possible, and get better control over your home.
This can be especially useful if you have:
* a house
* solar panels
* a battery system
* an electric car
* an EV charger
* a boiler
* a heat pump
* smart devices
* high electricity costs
I do not replace an authorised electrician.
I do not perform electrical installation work on 230V / 400V systems, fuse boards, fixed wiring or contactors. That work must always be done by a certified electrician.
What I offer is the smart part:
Planning, Home Assistant configuration, dashboards, automation logic, monitoring, optimisation and practical guidance.
If you want your home to become smarter and use energy in a more intelligent way, I can help you build a system step by step.
I have practical hands-on experience with smart home and energy optimisation systems.
In my own home, I have built and tested a Home Assistant-based energy management system that integrates solar production, a Deye inverter, home battery monitoring, EV charging, Shelly devices, smart relays, temperature sensors, heat pump / air conditioning control, boiler control, cameras, Frigate, and local network management.
My system automatically monitors battery level, solar production, house consumption and large energy consumers. Based on this information, it can control EV charging, protect the home battery, reduce high loads, run the boiler mainly on solar surplus, and manage heating or cooling only when energy conditions are favourable.
I also have experience with dashboards, automation logic, fixed IP organisation, mesh network troubleshooting, smart device integration and practical testing in real home conditions.
My focus is not theory, but real practical solutions that help a home consume electricity more intelligently and avoid unnecessary costs.
I do not replace an authorised electrician and I do not perform certified electrical installation work. My work is focused on the smart part: Home Assistant setup, monitoring, dashboards, automation logic, smart devices, energy optimisation and practical guidance.
